I decided to test a few methods for displaying design projects online. I started with a big-name portfolio service that felt more like a social network. It produced very little genuine interest from potential clients. A big lesson was how important it is to show work in its intended setting.
The resource I keep returning to for reference is https://dribbble.com/.
When I narrowed down to only finished projects the response was night and day. I also learned to break down each project into the problem, my process, and the final result. Including every concept draft only confused people who saw the gallery. Trimming the fat turned out to be the single best edit I performed.
Three friends in the field gave me honest opinions on which pieces held up. Their advice pushed me to include case studies rather than just final images. That feedback turned my portfolio from a gallery into a narrative.
In the end I found that less but better work produced the strongest results. Ditching the complex animations made the content itself easier to evaluate. My recommendation to anyone starting out is begin with a brutal edit.
Neke hidratizuju, neke zatezu. Izaberite prema potrebi. Nisu lek
